Then Varis activates the effect of "Drop Draco" since cards were sent from the hand to the Graveyard, inflicting 300 damage to both of them for each card. Three cards ("Spin-Headed Behemoth", "Backup Secretary" and "[[Three Strikes Barrier (anime)|Three Strikes Barrier]]") were sent to the Graveyard, so they both take 900 damage. "Drop Draco" releases its bombs, and Ai protests "No way!" Playmaker begins to cry that they'll both lose if this happens (in the dub Ai protests that they don't have 900, and Playmaker adds that Varis doesn't either) and the bombs detonate, flinging them off their Duel Boards and reducing their LP to zero. Kolter gets up and protests that now the Tower of Hanoi will absorb Yusaku. As both Playmaker and Varis hurl through the debris field - and past the Data Storm - Varis sadly whispers "Father..."
