Oddly enough, the kanjis for Shinryu can be found in the card's japanese name, and also the monster's effect of returning after being destroyed may be a reference to the "Auto-Reraise" effect granted by the equipment looted from Shinryu. * This is the first Rank 9 monster to require three [[Xyz Material]]s. * This card's body is similar to "[[Number 20: Giga-Brilliant]]". * This monster appears to have what looks like a human heart on its rib cage-like chest. * This card has the lowest combined [[ATK]] and [[DEF]] out of all Xyz Monsters. * This card's [[effect]] to have the opponent take the damage instead of you is similar to the effect of "[[Yubel]]".** These two cards also share the same ATK, DEF and [[Attribute]].*** This card also has similarities to "[[The Wicked Eraser]]", "[[Earthbound Immortal Aslla piscu]]" and "[[Earthbound Immortal Ccarayhua]]".**** Coincidentally, these cards were also used by antagonistic characters from the earlier generations ([[Bandit Keith]] from [[Yu-Gi-Oh!
