'''Platinum Secret Rare''' is a ''[[TCG]]''-exclusive rarity which debuted in and is currently exclusive to the ''[[2014 Mega-Tins]]'', ''[[2015 Mega-Tins]]'' and ''[[25th Anniversary Rarity Collection]]''. As its name implies, it features platinum-colored foil with the [[Secret Rare]] texture pattern in the same vein that [[Gold Secret Rare]] features gold foil with the Secret Rare pattern, with platinum-colored shatterfoil pattern in the name text. This rarity differs from [[Extra Secret Rare]] mainly due to the foil not covering the Attribute icon from the first releases and due to the fact that it doesn't cover the Pendulum Scales icons.
