The original monster or monsters that a non-physical monster is a form of will remain on the field. For example if a player forms "[[Black Skull Dragon (manga)|Black Skull Dragon]]" by fusing "[[Red-Eyes Black Dragon (manga)|Red-Eyes Black Dragon]]" and "[[Summoned Skull (manga)|Summoned Skull]]", the physical "Red-Eyes Black Dragon" and "Summoned Skull" cards remain on the field, but will not exist as separate monsters. A Spell that produces non-physical monsters remains on the field.
