In the English versiondub, [[Crow Hogan]] has a new voice actor starting with this episode.

[[Yusei Fudo]] [[draw a card|Yuseidraws]] draws "[[Quickdraw Synchron (anime)|Quickdraw Synchron]]". He then sends [[send]]s "[[Quillbolt Hedgehog (anime)|Quillbolt Hedgehog]]" from his [[hand ]] to the [[Graveyard ]] in order to [[Special Summon]] "Quickdraw Synchron" ([[Quickdraw SynchronFile:CG Star.svg|16px]]" (5/700/1400) in [[Attack Position]]. He Yusei then [[activate]]s the [[card effect|effect]] of "[[Quillbolt Hedgehog]]", Special Summoning it from his to revive itself ([[GraveyardFile:CG Star.svg|16px]] (2/800/800) in Attack Position as he controls a [[Tuner monster]]. Yusei then tunes "Quillbolt Hedgehog" with "Quickdraw Synchron" in order to [[Synchro Summon]] "[[Nitro Warrior (anime)|Nitro Warrior]]" ([[File:CG Star.svg|16px]]7/2800/1800) in Attack Position while treating "Quickdraw Synchron" as "[[Nitro Synchron]]" for the Synchro Summon. Since "Quillbolt Hedgehog" has been [[leaves the field|removed from the field]], it is [[banish|removed from play ]] due to its last effect.  "Nitro Warrior"[[Nitro Warriorattack]]" attacks s and [[destroy]]s [[Lawton]]'s "[[Gatling Ogre (anime)|Gatling Ogre]]". Since "Nitro Warrior" destroyed a monster in battle, Yusei activates its the second effect, switching 1 of "Nitro Warrior" to switch one "[[LawtonAmbush Token]]'s "from [[Ambush TokenDefense Position]]s" to Attack Position ([[Attack PositionFile:CG Star.svg|16px]] (1/100/100) and letting let "Nitro Warrior" attack it. "[[Nitro Warrior]]" attacks and destroys the Attack Position Ambush Token (Lawton 4000 → 1300 [[Life Points]]). Yusei's "[[Justice Bringer (anime)|Justice Bringer]]" then attacks and destroys another "[[Ambush Token]]". Yusei then places 2 cards [[face-down]] in his [[Spell & Trap Card Zones]] and ends his [[turnSet]]s two cards.

[[Lawton]] draws "[[Card of Burial Magic]]" and subsequently activates it, removing to remove from play 3 three [[Spell Card]]s from his [[Graveyard]] ("[[Pot of Avarice (anime)|Pot of Avarice]]", "[[Reload (anime)|Reload]]", and "[[Linear Accelerator Cannon (anime)|Linear Accelerator Cannon]]") to [[Draw|drawing]] 2 and draw two cards. Lawton then [[Tribute]]s his last 2 two "[[Ambush Token]]sTokens" in order to [[Tribute Summon]] "[[Blaster Ogre]]" ([[File:CG Star.svg|16px]]7/0/3000) in Defense Position.  Lawton activates the [[effect]] of "[[Blaster Ogre]]", [[to destroy]]ing [[Kalin]]'s "[[Infernity Archfiend (anime)|Infernity Archfiend]]" and inflicting inflict [[Effect Damage|damage]] to Kalin equal to half the ATK of "Infernity Archfiend"'s [[ATK]], which is 900 (Kalin 0 → 0 [[Life Points]]). Because of this, a second A [[Des Counter|Doom Counter]] gets is placed on "[[Infernity Zero (anime)|Infernity Zero]]"(Doom Counters on "Infernity Zero": 1 → 2).  Lawton reveals that "Blaster Ogre" can use its effect up to twice per turn, and . He then activates its the effect again, attempting of "Blaster Ogre" to destroy Kalin's "[[Infernity Beast (anime)|Infernity Beast]]" (which would place a third Doom Counter on "Infernity Zero", causing Kalin to lose the Duel). [[but Yusei]] activates his Set face-down "[[Skill Twist]]", redirecting to redirect the effect of "Blaster Ogre" to "[[Nitro Warrior]]", which destroys it and inflicts half destroying the ATK of "Nitro Warrior" as damage to Yusei latter monster instead (Yusei 4000 → 2600 [[Life Points]]). Lawton then Sets 1 a card in his [[Spell & Trap Card Zone]] and ends his turn.

[[Kalin Kessler|Kalin]] draws "[[Blaster Cartridge]]" and subsequently activates it, allowing him to [[send]] 4 four cards from the top of his [[Deck]] to the [[Graveyard]] (one of those cards which is revealed to be "[[Infernity Des Gunman|Infernity Doom Slinger]]"), then [[draw]] 1 one card and place "Blaster Cartridge" onto the on top of his Deck. When Kalin draws "Blaster Cartridge"after it is returned to the Deck by its own effect, it will be sent to his the Graveyard. He Kalin then [[Normal Summon]]s "[[Infernity Randomizer (anime)|Infernity Randomizer]]" ([[File:CG Star.svg|16px]]1/900/0) in Attack Position.  Kalin then tunes "[[Infernity Beast]]" and his 2 two "[[Infernity Beetle(anime)|Infernity Beetles]]s" with his [[Tuner monster]] "Infernity Randomizer" in order to [[Synchro Summon]] "[[Infernity Doom Dragon (anime)|Infernity Doom Dragon]]" ([[File:CG Star.svg|16px]]8/3000/2400) in Attack Position.<ref group=Notes name=Tuner>Although [[Kalin]] declares that "[[Infernity Randomizer]]" is a [[Tuner monster]] (and apparently, "Infernity Beetle" is not since only one Tuner can be used in a Synchro Summon), the visible text written on the card shows that "Randomizer" is a non-Tuner while "Beetle" is a Tuner.</ref>  Since Kalin has no cards in his hand, he activates the [[effect]] of "[[Infernity Doom Dragon]]", attempting to [[destroy]] [[Lawton]]'s "[[Blaster Ogre]]" and inflict half that monster's its ATK as damage to Lawton. However, but Lawton activates his face-down "[[Metal Coat]]", equipping it to "[[Blaster Ogre]]" and granting it immunity to prevent it from being destroyed destruction by card effects. Since Kalin notes that activated the effect of "Infernity Doom Dragon" , it cannot attack the this turn it activates its effect. Kalin ends his [[turn]].

Since "[[Bri Synchron]]" was sent to the Graveyard as a [[Synchro Material Monster]], "[[Stardust Dragon]]" gains 600 ATK until the End Phase, but its effects will also be [[negate]]d until the End Phase ("Stardust Dragon": 2500 → 3100/2000). "Stardust Dragon" [[attack]]s "[[Blaster Ogre]]", but [[Lawton]] activates the other effect of "[[Metal Coat]]", sending it to the Graveyard to prevent "[[Blaster Ogre]]" from being destroyed by battle. Yusei activates "[[Synchro Blast]]", allowing him to inflict 500 damage to Lawton once per turn when a Synchro Monster attacks (Lawton 1300 → 800 [[Life Points]]). Yusei ends his turn.

At this point"Stardust Dragon" attacks "Blaster Ogre", but Lawton realizes that he cannot win, because sends "Metal Coat" to the Graveyard in order to prevent "Blaster Ogre" from being destroyed by battle. Yusei activates his face-down "[[Stardust DragonSynchro Blast]]" will negate to inflict 500 damage to Lawton as a Synchro Monster attacked (Lawton 1300 → 800). On Yusei's End Phase, the effect of "Bri Synchron" expires ("Stardust Dragon": 3100 → 2500/2000). At this point, the Duel is interrupted by [[Blaster OgreBarbara]]" and destroy itLawton's henchmen. As before, Kalin explains that Lawton can choose whether or not to apply "Infernity Doom Slinger"'s next effect: Kalin can reveal the top card of his Deck, and if it is a [[Monster Card]], Lawton will take damage equal in order to negate the effect damage Kalin has taken so far this turn, and all effect damage Kalin takes this turn will be inflicted to give Lawton instead (a total of 1500 damage). However, if the revealed card is a [[Spell Card|Spell]] or [[Trap Card]], Kalin will take damage equal to the effect damage he has taken so far this turntwo choices.

Believing the top card of as he believes Kalin's Deck top card to be a Spell Card, he chooses to apply "Infernity Doom SlingerBlaster Cartridge"'s effect. , but Kalin reveals the that his top card of his Deck to be is "[[Infernity Climber]]", explaining . Kalin explains that when he activated its effect earlier alongside "Infernity Doom Slinger", its effect returned it to the top of his Deck. Since Kalin revealed a monster, the The effect of "Infernity Doom Slinger" activates, inflicting all then inflicts the damage Kalin would have taken from the effect of "Blaster Ogre" to Lawton instead (Lawton 800 → 0 [[Life Points]]). [[Kalin Kessler]] wins.

 *The entire last turn of the Duel is cut from the English dub. Instead, Kalin just pins him to the ground until Sector Security captures him, saying that Lawton is a coward and doesn't deserve to finish the Duel. This is the only episode where the entire final outcome of the Duel was changed between the original and dub versions.{{fact}} *In the dub, [[Jordan]] is stated to have been found alive in the mines, albeit injured. He is not shown though, since in the original, he was killed. **Additionally, in the dub, Kalin says that his reason for staying in town Crash Town is to take care of the kids until their father recovers. In the original, he says he's staying because he isn't satisfied with what he can do.

*"[[Infernity Archfiend]]" getting shot by the effect of "[[Blaster Ogre]]" is removed. *In the original version the insert song You Say~Ashita e~ is added. However in the dubbed version there is no insert song. *This episode was considered the season 3 finale in the ===German dub (due to the Dark Signers arc being treated as season 2).===*In the German dub, the The scene of the man holding a gun to Barbara's head and getting shot by Lawton's blaster is cut. *"[[Blaster Ogre]]" firing its cannon and Kalin getting hit by the bullet is cut from the German dub. *In the German dub, shots Scenes of "[[Infernity Doom Slinger]]" holding his gun to Lawton's head in the last turn of the Duel are cut. In addition, when Kalin reveals that "Infernity Doom Slinger" will inflict damage to Lawton, the scene immediately cuts away to a distant shot of the horizon, where he falls and his [[Life Points ]] simultaneously drop to 0. In the original, Lawton screams in horror, the sound of a gunshot is heard, and Lawton's Life Points are shown dropping to 0 before he falls in the foreground.

* In the original Japanese airing on TV, "[[Infernity Randomizer]]" is shown with 700 ATK instead of 900. This was fixed on the Japanese DVD release and in the dub.* When Kalin declares an attack with "Infernity Doom Dragon", "[[Infernity Doom Slinger]]" is shown on his Duel Disk instead of "Infernity Doom Dragon".* In the original Japanese airing on TV, the card text of "Metal Coat" was [[Card_Trivia:Metal_Coat|missing]] the first two and a half sentences. This was fixed on the DVD release.* During the last turn of the Duel when Kalin activates the effect of "Infernity Doom Slinger", he states that if the top card of his Deck is a Monster Card, he will win, but if it is a Spell or Trap Card, then he will lose. According to "Doom Slinger's" card text, that last part is inaccurate because Kalin would have received damage equal to the amount of effect damage he had received that turn, which was 0. (Therefore, Lawton technically had no reason to gamble on "Doom Slinger's" effect.)

* In the English dub, Lawton states that his "Blaster Ogre" is "more macho in the ATK point department" than Kalin's "Infernity Doom Dragon"." This is inaccurate, as "Blaster Ogre" actually has 0 ATK, but it does have 3000 DEF to match the ATK of "Infernity Doom Dragon"'s ATK.* In the English dub, when [[Kalin Kessler|Kalin]] [[Synchro Summon]]s Summons "[[Infernity Doom Dragon]]", the body of "[[Infernity Randomizer]]" is not edited as it would usually be. ==Player mistakes==* Technically, Lawton had no reason to gamble on "Infernity Doom Slinger"'s effect, for two reasons:** First, Kalin had not yet taken any effect damage on the turn "Infernity Doom Slinger"'s effect was activated, so even if Kalin had revealed a Spell or Trap Card, "Infernity Doom Slinger" would not have backfired with any damage. Presumably, the writers believed that Kalin would take 1500 damage had he revealed a Spell or Trap Card (this damage was already negated by the first effect of "Doom Slinger").** Second, if Lawton had chosen to not apply "Infernity Doom Slinger"'s effect, then he could have used "Blaster Ogre"'s effect a second time to destroy "Infernity Zero" directly. No characters ever mentioned the possibility of "Infernity Zero" being destroyed by means other than its own effect, and it is likely that the writers never considered this either.
