Each ''Baby'' "low-Level Dragon Ruler" has one [[only once per turn]] effect: the player can discard them and 1 Dragon or 1 monster of their Attribute and Special Summon one their corresponding high-Level 7 "Dragon Ruler" of the same with their Attribute from the Deck, though that monster but it cannot attack that this turn.

The series proved to be far too synergistic and powerful. The ''[[OCG]]'' and ''[[TCG]]'' Forbidden and Limited Lists experimented throughout By combining the months following their release, first with summoning effects of all the [[September 2013 Lists (OCG)|''Baby'' Dragon]] [[September 2013 Lists (TCG)|Rulers Forbidden]] in the September 2013 listsRuler monsters, then and the [[January 2014 Lists|''Adult'' Dragon]] [[April 2014 Lists (OCG)|Rulers Limited]]searching effects of "Tempest" and "Tidal", and finally the series [[April 2015 Lists (OCG)|was]] [[April 2015 Lists (TCG)|eradicated]] in April 2015 can rapidly swarm the board with the ''Adult'' Level 7 Dragon Rulers ForbiddenRuler monsters, and which can then be used for Level 7 Xyz plays. The ability for Dragon Ruler monsters to Special Summon themselves from the GY also grants the now-useless ''Babies'' UnlimitedDeck excellent recovery over multiple turns.
