Ok, Super Conductor Tyranno's effect says "Once per turn, by Tributing 1 monster, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent."  It doesn't say it has to be on YOUR side of the field.  Please tell me if it has to be on your side of the field or can it be your opponents.

My friend uses an old version of SCT and in its effect box it states "By tributing one monster from your hand inflict 1000 damage to your opponent..." But we all say that if its from your hand then its called discarding, so we all are abit confused. Do you tribute a monster on your side of the field or discard a monster from your hand to activate this effect, or is it both?DragonDude 09:30, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

I didn't know this misprinted version existed. (Have you made sure the card isn't fake?) Anyway the correct text reads;
Once per turn, by Tributing 1 monster, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. This monster cannot declare an attack if you use this effect this turn.
Even if the card is misprinted you must use this effect. So you would have to tribute the monster from your side of the field to use the effect. -- Deltaneos 11:21, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
