* This card and "[[Goyo Guardian]]" were the first [[Synchro Monster]]s to become [[Limited]], with this card also being the first and only limited Sea Serpent-Type monster at the time.
** As of [[September 2012 Lists]], this card is the only [[Forbidden]] Sea Serpent-Type monster.
* This was the fourth Synchro monster to be Forbidden, following "[[Dark Strike Fighter]]", "[[Goyo Guardian]]" and "[[Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier]]".
