- Use token monsters (e.g. Scapegoat) or your opponent's monsters (Such as from Goyo Guardian) to lessen the cost of this card.
- Use this card to destroy Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis so both players take 1000 damage, but the opponent takes the extra 800.
- Use Mind Control to destroy an opponent's monster with this card.
- You can combine this with Chthonian Blast to do more effect damage and destroy another monster. Add Barrel Behind the Door, Spell of Pain, or Mecha-Dog Marron for more damage.
