Collectible Tins 2003

The Collectible Tins 2003 are six collectible tins, released in September 2003.[1]

Each tin contains one promotional card, which is depicted on the tin and one of each of the following Booster Packs; Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon, Metal Raiders, Spell Ruler, known as Magic Ruler at the time, Pharaoh's Servant and Labyrinth of Nightmare.

The "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" tin depicts the artwork from the Starter Deck: Kaiba "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", even though the contained promotional card uses the Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon artwork.

These tin reprints of the original 5 Booster Packs are notable for being the first time the reference to Magic Cards has been replaced with Spell Card. These are sometimes called the "2003 BPT Reprint" as they cannot be visually differentiated from the original 2002/2003 cards unless the word "Spell" is used in the errata or it was a former Magic Card.

Breakdown[edit]

There are six Secret Rare promotional cards, consisting of two Normal Monsters, three Effect Monsters and one Fusion Monster. Two of the cards are used by Yugi Muto, two are used by Seto Kaiba and two are used by Joey Wheeler.
