He normal summons and treats "[[Raidraptor - Retrofit Lanius]]" as "Vanishing Lanius" through its own effect, allowing him to Special summon this card through the effect of "Vanishing Lanius". He then overlays them with "Retrofit Lanius" being treated as two monsters to Xyz summon "[[Raidraptor - Rise Falcon (anime)|Raidraptor - Rise Falcon]]".

* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V - Episode 109|episode 109]], Shay Obsidian plays three copies of this card in his duel against the [[Obelisk Force]]. He Normal summons it, allowing him to Special summon an another copy of this card. As the second copy was Special summoned, he special summons a third of this card through it effect. He then overlays the three copies of "Vanishing Lanius" to Xyz Summon "[[Raidraptor - Rise Falcon (anime)|Raidraptor - Rise Falcon]]".
