| Amazoness Archer
| One of several rowspan="4"tribute monsters to inflict | Cannon Soldier and its ilk are classic burn damage" cards to FTK enablers with no once-per-turn restriction which can be used in many strategies. The original was infamous, but spared being Forbidden for so long (see unlike its faster Spell counterpart, Cannon SoldierMass Driver below). Like since it has the others, disadvantage of requiring a Normal Summon or another card to Special Summon it has no turn restriction. The game is much faster now, leading and methods to burn FTKsSpecial Summon it and its counterparts easily are widespread. This one in In particular is searchable, by cards such as various Link-era burn strategies featuring Amazoness CallFirewall Dragon(Limited) and the player's choice of engine brought them to the fore enough for them to be Forbidden. | Astrograph Sorcerer
| Key card in Pendulum Magiciansthat generates ludicrous advantage. When a card you control is destroyed, it can Special Summon itself from the hand and add a copy of the destroyed card from the Deck to the hand. Can be triggered and looped fairly easily with Heavymetalfoes Electrumite. Being Level 7, it can be used to access Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon, which provides more advantage, and brings out Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon, with its removal and negate effects, when it's sent to the Graveyard by any means. This card is Limited in the OCG.

| Cannon Soldier
| A classic burn FTK enabler which can be used in many strategies. Mass Driver (also Forbidden) on legs, which was spared being Forbidden for so long since it has the disadvantage of requiring a Normal Summon or another card to Special Summon it. When methods to Summon monsters easily became much more viable, that was ultimately that for this card. This card is Unlimited in the TCG.
|- style="background-color:#FF8B53;"
| Cannon Soldier MK-2
| Another Cannon Soldier (above). Requires more setup to pull off, but has the same end effect: a burn FTK. This card is Unlimited in the TCG.
|- style="background-color:#FF8B53;"
| Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End
|- style="background-color:#FF8B53;"
| Makyura the Destructor
| When sent to the Graveyardfrom anywhere, by any means, it this card allows for Traps to be activated from the hand for the activation rest of any Trap Card from the handturn. A lot of Trap Cards have powerful effects that are balanced due to the fact of them needing a turn to be activated, ; this card removes the downside. Being an effect that doesn't activate, it bypasses a lot of negation options. Sets up OTKs and FTKs which would be impossible otherwise, such as the loop OTK..

| Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King
|- style="background-color:#A086B7;"
| Supreme King Dragon Starving Venom
| Easily Summonable by Contact Fusion in Pendulum Decks. Its effect to gain the effects of a monster in the Graveyard allows it to gain the effect of Lyrilusc - Independent Nightingale, which until the End Phase allows it to gain 4000 ATK (for a total of 6800), makes it unaffected by any other card effects, and enables it to inflict 4000 points of damage to your opponent once per turn, guaranteeing . This guarantees an OTK if you can Summon twobring out 2, which is trivial in Pendulum Magician builds. This card is Unlimited in the OCG.

| Tellarknight Ptolemaeus
| The Tyrant Neptune
| High-Level monster with an effect similar to Phantom of Chaos (now Unlimited; see below). Was Forbidden because of an OTK with "Lyrilusc - Independent Nightingale" (which is easily Summoned by "Instant Fusion"), where you copy that card's effect with this card, which gives it 6000 ATK (5000 with its effect + 1000 from "Nightingale" itself), makes it unaffected by any other card effects, and enables it to inflict 5000 points of damage to your opponent once per turn, guaranteeing an OTK if it survives your opponent's turn. Differently from most other effect-copying monsters, it is permanent, making "Neptune" extremely difficult to remove. Nothing that Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon or Kaijus can't handle, but it's still terrifying to go up against otherwise. Can also be searched by King of the Feral Imps.
|- style="background-color:#FF8B53;"
| Toon Cannon Soldier
| Cannon Soldier (also Forbidden in the OCG) with a cartoon skin. There's no disadvantage to using this over the classic flavour (except the classic Toon baggage, but you're not running Toon World or attacking anyway if you're running burn FTK), so there was no sense in banning that but keeping this alive. This card is Unlimited in the TCG.

|- style="background-color:#1D9E74;"
| Giant Trunade
| Clears back field and prepares for OTK. Harder to stop than Heavy Storm (Which is also Forbidden) because it doesn't destroy. Mainly banned for it being able to recycle and reuse Spell/Trap Cards with effects that can only be used a limited amount of times while they are on the field. It's notable that effects that consistently bounce your own Spell/Traps are very rare due to this. Localized Hey, Trunade! was designed to be a fair version of this card.

| Its effect bounces both your cards and your opponent's, removing their defenses while allowing you to recycle on-Summon effects that aren't a hard once-per-turn including Grinder Golem (also Limited in the TCG), or itself when used in multiples. Also allows you to recycle hand traps from the Graveyard. Naturally able to start a plethora of OTKs and FTKs, and is the sole reason why several cards are on the list.

| Gem-Knight Master Diamond
| Powerful Fusion Monster in Can copy the effects of other Gem-Knight monsters, most importantly Gem-KnightLady Lapis Lazuli OTKto create a burn FTK. Its effect to gain After the burn effect release of Gem-Knight Lady LapislazuliPhantom Quartz, an FTK combo could be started with just Brilliant Fusion allowed and any Gem-Knight monster in the Deck to OTKstarting hand. This card is Unlimited in the OCG.

| Genex Ally Birdman
|- style="background-color:#1D9E74;"
| Scapegoat
| Originally placed on the list as it was an effective stall tool in the early competitive game, but the rise of widespread piercing damage limited that utility. Was part of the Goat Control Deck, but most of the key cards of that Deck are either Limited or Forbiddennow Metamorphosis has been forbidden. Allows for easy Synchro Summons and especially Link Summons, where it can produce a Firewall Dragon (Limited) from just 1 card.
