Well, 6 months passed by the time the second season started, so at some point during that time she might've moved on from all that stuff with him and the Arcadia Movement. I think that Akiza shares certain qualities with Sabrina from Pokemon and Bridget Verdant from Mew Mew Power: Akiza has the same psychic powers, short temper and cold demeanor as Sabrina, before she was defeated by Ash and has the same caring personality, and voice actress, as Bridget.
