- "Threatening Roar" can be used to counter most One Turn Kills, since they often depend on activating Spell Cards such as "Heavy Storm" or "Giant Trunade" to clear the Spell & Trap Card Zones before attacking. Threatening Roar can be activated in response to the Spell Cards.
- this card is similar to "Waboku", in some situations it may be more useful (e.g. they can't force you to flip your Morphing Jar if it's on the field.)
