A deck box from the Raging Battle Sneak Peak

A Sneak Preview Event is an event held to give a taste of a new Card Set, often with Promos given away. The Event itself may or may not consist of a Tournament. These tournaments also are mixed, you'll usually find people playing with their new sealed Cards but still you'll find people with their decks. There are also Traders who come to Trade, usually getting a bunch of new Cards at the Event. You'll find Duelists speaking of local meta, tournaments and other stuff. Occasionally, some Duelists will stay until later in the day and just chat with the other Duelists, sometimes do last minute Trades, or just chat with the judges. Duelists who come to these events can just hang around or compete in many side tournaments.

At an average Sneak Preview Event, players can buy 5 packs of the newest set for about $20 (and this will also include the promo card), and players are encouraged to build 20-card decks with the cards they pull and duel 5 times, filling out a scorecard.Sneak Peaks also introduce promo cards, such as Colossal Fighter/Assault Mode, Battlestorm, XX-Saber Gardestrike, or Koa'ki Meiru Beetle. The card is usually included in a sample of the Manga which also includes tips for some cards in the set being released.

Using the special 20-card Sneak Peek deck, duelists can Duel against others and try to win a special Game Mat or deck box.

The date for the next Sneak Preview Events are to be determined.
