- With Backs to the Wall, you can use Last Turn much earlier. Just get one Samurai into the Graveyard, Summon Jowgen the Spiritualist, activate Backs to the Wall, then Last Turn. Works only in Traditional, of course.
- When you have 4 or more samurai cards, including The Six Samurai - Nisashi, in your graveyard and your opponent still has a lot of life points left with strong defenses, activate this card and summon Shien's Footsoldier to the field. Then use Shien's Spy and give Shien's Footsoldier to your opponent. Activate Breakthrough! and attack the Shien's Footsoldier with Nisashi so you can still deliver direct damge with Nisashi. Now you will have the max attacks with the samurai as you will be able to special summon one of the three-star samurai from your deck, you should win after all five samurai attack directly.
