* This is a good "problem-solver" card that is relatively easy to summon.
* This card works well with "[[DNA Transplant]]". Once all monsters on the field are a single Attribute (other than DARK), no monster can destroy Catastor.(monsters with destruction negate effects are excluded such as "[[Stardust Dragon]]" and "[[Power Tool Dragon]]" )
* Use [[Staunch Defender]] so you can destroy all of the opponent's non-[[Dark]] Monsters.
* "[[Junk Synchron]]" can easily [[summon]] this [[Monster Cards|monster]]. So can [[Deep Sea Diva]].
