"Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon" attacks "Dark Magician", but Yugi activates the effect of "Electromagnetic Turtle" in his Graveyard, banishing it in an attempt to end Kaiba's Battle Phase. Kaiba activates the effect of "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon", negating the activation of the effect of "Electromagnetic Turtle" in the Graveyard. The attack continues, but Yugi activates his Set "Spellbinding Circle" to prevent "Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon" from attacking and decrease its ATK by 700 ("Blue-Eyes Spirit Dragon": 2500 → 1800). Since Yugi activated a Spell/Trap Card during Kaiba's turn, he Special Summons "[[Magician of Dark Illusion]]" (2100/2500) from his hand in Defense Position. Due to its own effect, "Magician of Black Illusion" is also treated as "Dark Magician" while it is on the field. As Yugi Special Summoned a "Dark Magician", the effect "Dark Magical Circle" activates, allowing Yugi to banish "Chaos Emperor Dragon".
