* This card series is based on one of [[Konami]]'s games, ''[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gradius_(series) Gradius]''.
* Though not completely clear at first glance, a red trail can be seen on this card's artwork. This trail is actually made by what appears to be a Lord British (another ship from the Gradius series) and the Crystal Core is actually attempting to destroy it.
* This card has a counter part, "[[Big Core]]"
