* During episodes [[Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Episode 168|168]] and [[Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - Episode 179|179]], this card can be seen in a display case among others as part of a replica of [[Yugi's Deck]].
* In [[yuYu-giGi-ohOh! gx GX - episode Episode 180- The True Graduation Duel! Judai VS The Legendary Duelist|episode 180]], [[Yugi]] uses this card in his duel against [[Jaden Yuki]]. When Jaden activated "[[Code Change]]" to turn [[Warrior]]-[[Type]] written on the "[[Hero's Guild]]" card into [[Rock]]-[[Type]], Yugi activates this card to negate the effect of "Code Change" and have this card absorb the effect of "Code Change". Later Yami Yugi takes over the Duel. After activating "[[Dark Renewal]]", Yami Yugi then activates the effect of "Code Change" that was sealed within this card to turn [[Spellcaster]]-[[Type]] written on the "[[Dark Renewal]]" card into [[Divine-Beast]]-[[Type]]. This enables him to use "Dark Renewal" to summon "[[Slifer the Sky Dragon (original)|Slifer the Sky Dragon]]".
** In this duel, "Mystical Refpanel" seemed to be a [[Continuous Trap Card]] that sealed the card, and allowed the user to activate that card as if it were his own at a time of his choosing.
==Scripted Duels==
* In the non-canon duel [[YCS Providence 2012 Special: Mai, Joey and Yugi vs. Pegasus and Bakura]], Yugi activates this card against [[Yami Bakura]]. Yugi negates Bakura's "[[Change of Heart]]" which was targeting Yugi's "[[Valkyrion the Magna Warrior]]". The effect of "Change of Heart" then disappears without being reused.
