Effect wise, this card is the opposite of [[Airknight Parshath]].
This card is named after Mephisto, a demon to whom Faustus sold his soul in the play ''The Tragicall'' (sic) ''History of Doctor Faustus,'' by Christopher Marlowe. Mephisto is also the name of one of the villains in the ''Diablo'' games.
