* Combo this card with the effect of "[[Protector of the Sanctuary]]" to essentially eliminate your opponent's hand.
** However, this can only be accomplished by Chaining a card or effect that either Special Summons "Protector of the Sanctuary" or flips it face-up. Otherwise, "Protector of the Sanctuary" would prevent you from activating this card.
* If you can get your opponent's hand to 8 cards or more, you can use [[Heavy Slump]] to drop it down to 2 and set up for this card. You can gain significant advantage in combination with [[Appropriate]], drawing two cards off of each card in this combo. Since the most consistent way to set this combo up is to use cards that force your opponent to draw, Appropriate will give you cards off those too.
