A Signal Counter (Japanese: シグナルカウンター, Shigunaru Kauntā) is a specific type of counter that is used by certain cards. They were introduced with the release of "Signal Warrior" and are represented by its head.
"Signal Warrior" mimics the effects of the anime-only card "Speed World 2", making Signal Counters the OCG/TCG counterpart of Speed Counters in a certain sense.
Both "Signal Warrior" and "On Your Mark, Get Set, DUEL!" place counters during each Standby Phase, while "Synchro World" places them when a Synchro Summon it performed. These can activate different effects by removing a certain number of Signal Counters.
