* This card is similar to "[[Voltanis the Adjudicator]]". Both have 2800 ATK, both summon themselves when a [[Counter Trap]] is successfully activated (though Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord's effect is only activated when [[Counter Trap Cards]] negate the activation of a an opponent's card), and both perform an additional effect once summoned to the field in this way.
