Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS
The Duel Disks in Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS are a brand new model invented by SOL Technology and appear to function similar to those used in Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, but presumably due to being solely used in Link VRAINS, they look more like simple wrist pieces. They also lack a Deck slot and an arm blade, as the Disk uses a Cloud function connected to SOL's card database, and therefore physical cards are not needed. Moreover, they include a support AI that helps the user during Duels and allows access to Link VRAINS itself.

Newer models project the user's Hand in front of them by swiping their drawing hand across in front of them. They can be played either by voice command or physical interaction with the cards. It There is unknown if there are no visible Zones for the duelist to physically play cards, instead merely being played in a normal fashion before disappearing from view. When actions that require interacting with Deck, Graveyard, or Extra Deck are triggered, a ring of energy is projected around the Duel Disk with three raised areas with thin slots arranged in a triangular fashion. The one on top of the wrist acting as the Deck and the ones on the sides acting as the Graveyard and Extra Deck.
