* This card's name is similar to "[[Witch of the Black Rose]]".
* This card is banned mostly because she can let you add very powerful monsters from your deck whose DEF is 1500 or less: "[[Summoned Skull]]" and "[[Rose Tentacles]]" whose defense is 1200; every "[[Monarch]]" and "[[Dark Armed Dragon]]" (all Defense of 1000); "[[Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca]]" whose defense is 100; as well as countless powerful monsters with 0 defense ("[[Sorciere de Fleur]]", "[[Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes]]", "[[Orichalcos Shunoros]]", "[[Rocket Arrow Express]]", "[[Vampire Dragon]]", "[[Berserk Dragon]]", "[[Yubel]]" and [[Yubel - Terror Incarnate|herits]] [[Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare|incarnations]], and "[[Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis]]").
* This card is based on [[wikipedia:Grendel's mother|Grendel's mother]], who in the original poem of Beowulf is described as having eyes on her breasts.
