- This card is formally known as "Pigeonholing Books of Spell" in TCG until its reprint in Gold Series: Haunted Mine.
- This may have something to do with the Books of Spell archetype which will be coming in the TCG version of Return of the Duelist, although it is still odd as this card is a valid target for the books, thus it would actually cause confusion.
- The Trap card version of this card is "Fruits of Kozaky's Studies".
- This card’s effect is similar to “Big Eye” and “Ancient Telescope”, the latter of which only works on the opponent's Deck.
- This card's artwork seems to be in the same library as the artwork of "Hidden Spellbook".
