- You can summon this card by using "Rescue Rabbit" to special summon two "Evilswarm Heliotrope" to overlay into Ophion at no cost.
- Use this card's effect once summoned to add "Pandemic Contagion Infestation" to your hand. You can then attack and use the spell card in reply to any spells or traps your opponent may defend with. You'll also be leaving one overlay unit so Ophion's effect will still hold and prevent your opponent from special summoning a level 5 or higher monster.
- This card can be easily summoned with "Evilswarm Castor".
- This card is a prime candidate for revival with "Xyz Reborn".
- As long as this card has at least one XYZ Material to it, it can shut down decks that focus on special summoning high level monsters such as Hopeless Dragon and Synchro Summons (which count as special summons) such as Stardust Dragon. However, it's important to remember powerful Special Summoners like Rescue Rabbit and Summoner Monk will still be able to set up quick XYZ summons easily.
