- This card's first effect is useful for preemptively flipping an opponent's monster face-down, so that it will be unable to activate or apply its effects.
- This effect can be especially useful against monsters that negate activations of cards/effects and destroy them, since this card's second effect would be triggered as a result (possibly resulting in its third effect later being activated).
- This is also useful for eliminating monsters by battle, if they have low DEF.
- This card's first effect can also be used to reset the effects of monsters like "Evilswarm Ouroboros" and "Schuberta the Melodious Maestra".
- This card's third effect can be useful in eliminating monsters that cannot be targeted by card effects, like "Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon", "Leo, the Keeper of the Sacred Tree", "Lunalight Leo Dancer", "The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode", etc.
- This effect is also useful in dealing with cards that activate their effects when destroyed, such as "Yang Zing" monsters or "Kozmotown", or to send cards that are resistent against destruction, such as "Kyoutou Waterfront", "Wind-Up Zenmaines", "Number F0: Utopic Future" etc.
- It can also be used on monsters that would activate their effects upon being targeted by a card effect, such as "Maiden with Eyes of Blue", "Blackwing Tamer - Obsidian Hawk Joe" or "Machina Fortress".
- If this card is attacked, its first effect can be used on itself, so that its third effect can be triggered after damage calculation.
