Use this card with Darkness Neosphere to insure he/she cant attack for multiple turns
- "Threatening Roar" can be used to counter most One Turn Kills, since they often depend on activating Spell Cards such as "Mystical Space Typhoon" or "Giant Trunade" to clear the Spell & Trap Card Zones before attacking. Threatening Roar can be activated in response to the Spell Cards.
- This card is similar to "Waboku", but in some situations it may be more useful (e.g. they can't force you to flip your "Morphing Jar" if it's on the field.)
- This card can prevent "Gladiator Beasts" from attacking.
- If your opponent has "Red Dragon Archfiend" on the field, this card will cause its effect to destroy all of their other monsters.
- Use "Threatening Roar" in combination with a face-up flip effect monster and "Magical Hats" to bring out "Dark Coffins". This will make your opponent destroy 2 of their monsters or lose 2 cards from their hand and you will have flipped your monster face-down.
