  • Gordias is the founder of the city Gordium, where Alexander the Macedon cut the Gordian Knot.
  • So far in the TCG, it is one of two Dinosaur-types that has DARK as its Attribute, the other being "Element Saurus". If we include Dinosaur-types outside of the TCG, "Horned Saurus" is a third DARK Dinosaur-type.
  • The card text "Except Gladiator Beast Spartacus." is not needed, because Gladiator Beast Spartacus' effect says that this card cannot be Special Summoned Except by Gladiator Beast Hoplomus.
