- The ideal cards to equip with this card are "Atlantean Pikeman" and "Clown Zombie". Both cards would gain ideally the most ATK since their levels are low (they essentially have 700 ATK per level, while the strongest monsters of the other levels would have a lower ratio). With "A Legendary Ocean" on the field, "Pikeman's" level becomes 1 and can raise its strength even higher.
- Another ideal card is "Jerry Beans Man".
- You can also use this card with "Demotion" to lower the level of a stronger Normal Monster, or further increase the ATK boost received by the equipped monster.
- For a temporary boost, you can also use "Noisy Gnat" and "Silent Strider".
- When this card is in your hand, use this card as a cost for activating a card such as "Spell Shield Type-8" or "Raigeki Break", then activate is effect that returns this card to the top of your deck since it states that it will only activate 'if this card is sent to the graveyard' (no specific zone required).
- This combo is better in decks that can constantly allow you to draw more than one card per turn (such as "Crystal Beasts"), so as to not hamper you from drawing cards.
- Combo this card with "Burden of the Mighty" to further punish high level monsters.
- This card is good in decks built around Gemini monsters which tend to be around Level 4. It can help keep them around until you activate their effects and recycles when you do so.
- This card is helpful with the effects of "Phoenix Gearfried" and "Evocator Chevalier" as it can be used to activate their effects and it recycles itself, letting you keep using their abilities for as long as you have a normal monster to equip it to.
- This card would go well in "The Dark Door" decks.
- This card can be used against Mill Decks.
