Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 082 - The Dark Spirit Revealed - Part 1 is part one of the first duel of the Battle City Finals,hosted by,surprise,Seto Kiaba. The Duels are selected at 100% random with a lottery machine that looks like "The Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon". The machine selects duelists 6 and 3,Bakura and Yugi. Bakura looks like he's ready to go,but something dose'nt seem right about the guy,he's still has that bandage around his arm. Yugi has a not so crazy hypothesis,the evil spirit of "The Millenium Ring" is back in control of Bakura. And right before the duel starts,Bakura reveals "The Millenium Ring" and the dark spirit inside it and tells Yugi that there is so much about the Finals that he is unaware of,so many secrets being kept from him. Yugi refuses to beleive the spirit of the ring. The Duel begins,and Bakura summons "The Potrait's Secret" in attack mode,then ends his turn. "The Potrait's Secret" only has 1200 Attack points,sounds like Bakura made a pretty dumb move,but it's too late now. Yugi begins his turn by summoning "Gazelle,The King of Mythical Beasts",and destroys Bakura's pathetic monster,then places one card face down. Next Bakura summons "The Gross Ghost of Fled Dreams" in attack mode.(Attack Points:1300)He ends his turn by yelling,"Attack my monster if you dare!" Yugi summons "Gamma the Maganet Warrior" and attacks the ghost, and Bakura's LifePoints directly. Once again Bakura summons a weak monster,"The Headless Knight",in Attack mode.(Attack Points:1450)Gamma destroys "The Headless Knight",and Gazelle takes another chunk out of Bakuras LifePoints,which turn to a low amount of 450.Yugi yells,"Time to make you'r finnal move". Bakura chuckles,"Alright then,HAHAHAHA! Its time,you've done exactly what i wanted you to do,now your destruction begins!" Almost everyone thinks he's bluffing,but Kiaba thinks otherwise.Bakura explains that once three of his monsters go to the Graveyard,he can Special Summon his "dark destructor","Dark Necrofear". Although she has a blistering 2200 Attack Points,Bakura only places two cards face down and ends his turn.Yugi tries to figure out the situation,but Bakura insits that Yugi should make his move. Yugi does and sacrifices Gazelle to summon the "Dark Magician Girl". Bakura just laughs,"Fool I'm afraid you'r magical fairy is too weak to destroy my monster." Yugi activates his face down card,"Magic Formula",which raises "Dark Magician Girl's" Attack Points by 500.(Attack Points:2500)He destroys "Dark Necrofear",but Bakura just smiles and chuckles."Thanks",he said. He explains that when Yugi destroyed "Dark Necrofear",which Bakura wanted Yugi to do,he could activate the power of an extreamly powerful Feild Spell. And that Feild Spell is "Dark Sanctuary". "Look around you there's no escaping the magic of Dark Sanctuary",said Bakura to Yugi,"well done,everything had to go just right and you played you'r part perfectly." To be contiued in Part 2...
