• This card bares a strong resemblance to Ganondorf, the central reoccuring antagonist from The Legend of Zelda video game series. Note the black armor, the big sword and orange hair. He also bears a resemblance to Ganondorf's undead counterpart, Phantom Ganon. The art style of his head also makes him resemble Ghost Rider.
• This card may be a counterpart of Blade Knight, whose ATK can also be increased by manipulating the cards in your hand.
• This card's effect is similar to a part of Vanguard of the Dragon's.
• This monster is holding what looks like a Dark version of Legendary Sword.
