Card Trivia:Chimeratech Fortress Dragon

- This card has a similar counterpart, "Chimeratech Overdragon".
- Oddly enough, even though its name is "Chimeratech FORTRESS Dragon", it's effect has nothing to do with raising its DEF stat.
- Both this card and Chimeratech Overdragon originate from the Chimaera, a mythical beast with the heads of a dragon, lion, and goat. More recently, 'chimaera' refers to the combining of naturally occuring objects, much like the varying Machine-type monsters that can be used to summon both.
