- This card would be a good combo to chain with Staunch Defender, only if there monsters attack is higher than yours, it will destroy the strongest monsters on their field and which then the weaker monsters will have to attack the monster that you target for Staunch Defender. Be careful to chain Widespread Ruin then Staunch Defender.
