While dueling my friend I cam acroos an interesting problem. I had zombie woorld active on the field and I had my Archfiend Zombie-Skull on the field. I syncro summoned my DOOMKAISER DRAGON and brought back his gale from his graveyard. I acti vated book of life and brought back my pyramid turtle and syncro summoned for my Black Rose Dragon. Since he had two face down trap or magic cards and one face down defense monster I decided nto activate Black Rose's effect to blow up the field since both my monsters would be safe due to Archfiend Zombie-Skull's effect. Here is the problem. Since zombie world was in effect my black rose was a zombie when it was syncro summoned and since its effect causes it to destroy itself while destroying everything else wouldn't Archfiend skulls effect prevent black rose from destroying itself?
dont ever do that
dont combo zombie deck with black rose dragon brd is a key cardin a plant deck see akiza s deck for instance and zombie synchros are only available for your deck and not 1 of the 5 legendary dragons Sartorias 20:55, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

it's risky, but...
If Archfiend Zombie-Skull and Zombie World on the field when Black Rose Dragon is Synchro Summoned, then you can duse BRD's destruction effect, but all of your zombies will be safe.
Oh, and you can use any Synchro Monster in your deck as long as it follows the rules. Don't let the anime or anyone else dictate what you should put in your own deck.
