- If you're making a Bubbleman Burn deck, think about using this card temporarily. Although it's not the best burn card, it still burns and is self milling. If you have a Rapid-Fire Magician face-up on your field, it will inflict an additional 400 damage to your opponent's life points. If you have a face-up Royal Magical Library, you can be 1 step closer to drawing one card. When you can, replace this card for the better Goblin Thief or for something more useful.
- Combine with Dark Room of Nightmare to inflict 800 damage instead.
