So I have a question about this.
Player A controls a Shooting Quasar Dragon
Player B controls a Obelisk the tormentor
It is Player B's turn. Player B Had already exhausted Shooting Quasar's effect to negate. Player B Activates Smashing Ground and Destroys Shooting Quasar Dragon.
Shooting Quasar Dragon's ability activate and Player A Special summons a Shooting Star Dragon from their extra deck.
Player B proceeds to attack with his Obelisk.
Player A activate's Shooting Star's ability to banish itself to Negate the attack.
The Question is: Can Shooting Star be brought back to the field since it wasn't properly summoned?

- Shooting Star Dragon's effect is not like Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon's effect, which RETURN's to the field. In Shooting Star's case, it requires the monster to have been properly synchro summoned to special summon it during the endphase. Since Shooting Quasar Dragon does not properly synchro summon Shooting Star, Shooting Star cannot come back during the end phase after negating an attack.--S1L3N7_N1GH7S 23:05, October 21, 2012 (UTC)
