Madolche Queen says "Once per turn: You can detach 1 xyz material from this card, THEN target up to 2 "Madolche" cards in your graveyard; shuffle those cards into the Deck, then shuffle cards your opponent controls into the Deck, up to the number of cards returned.shuffle those cards into the Deck, then shuffle cards your opponent controls into the Deck, up to the number of cards returned.
If i have no Madolche cards in the grave can I use her effect and target the Madolche I detach. Or can I just not use the effect at all. Since it says "THEN" i assume i could.

- No, you need at least 1 Madolche card to activate her effect. You can, however, have exactly 1 Madolche card in the Graveyard, and when you detach to activate, you can then target two cards, if possible depending on how many cards your opponent has. 70.79.84.206 (talk) 20:53, December 13, 2012 (UTC)
