- This monster, as well as "Number 31: Abel's Devil", are based on the Biblical story of Cain and Abel, the first and second sons of Adam and Eve. According to Genesis 4:1-8, Cain committed the first murder by killing Abel.
- The opposite position of the Numbers further allude to this.
- This is the second pair of numbers where they share corrisponding digets, the first being Number 61: Volcasaurus and Number 19: Freezadon
