- In the "5D's Tracks: The 27th" omake on page 78 of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Volume 4, Masashi Satō revealed that "Dragonlet" is a portmanteau of "Dragon" and "outlet", but that it was a personal mistake as pointed out by Masahiro Hikokubo. He intended to make the portmanteau of this card's name based on its artwork, which would have resulted in "Junk Dragonplug".
