• This card is inspired by the Mind Crush ability used by Yugi, in particular the version used against Seto Kaiba at the end of the Death-T arc of the manga.

• In fact, the broken puzzle in the card's background is the exact same shape as the puzzle shown when Yugi gives Kaiba his final penalty game at the end of Death-T

• D.D. Designator is a Spell that removes cards instead of sending them to the Graveyard.
