  • Be careful when using this card to Special Summon certain self-reviving Synchro Monsters such as "Red Nova Dragon" and "Stardust Warrior", as they will not have been properly Synchro Summoned and will not Special Summon themselves in the End Phase after using their effects.
  • This card can be used to Special Summon "Shooting Quasar Dragon" more easily, but it will not be able to attack multiple times. "Stardust Sifr Divine Dragon" is also a good option.
    • A better option would be "Cosmic Blazar Dragon", as its effects can still be used if not Synchro Summoned properly, and it returns to the field, instead of being Special Summoned.
  • "Flower Cardian Lightflare" is a good option due to its very harsh Synchro Materials, especially when facing monsters that cannot be run over by "Quasar/Sifr/Blazar" such as "Number 81" and "Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon". Special mention goes to "Utopia the Lightning" and "Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon", while they can easily strike down "Quasar/Sifr/Blazar" due to their effects, they cannot strike down "Lightflare" since their effects will be negated.
  • If you don't need the summoned monster immediately, you could Synchro Summon Phonon Pulse Dragon while you have or after summoning a Level 8 Synchro Monster such as Red Dragon Archfiend or Stardust Dragon. Then set this card and finish your turn however you like. During your opponent's turn, you can use this card to dodge an effect or just surprise them with a massive monster with negation abilities, like Cosmic Blazar Dragon. Phonon Pulse Dragon's Level Modulation effect can further increase the number of synchro monsters you could summon with this effect. Just keep in mind Phonon Pulse Dragon stops you from special summoning for the rest of the turn except a Synchro Summon using it as material, so you can't use this card on the same turn you summon them.
