- Pot of Avarice can be used with Magical Merchant in order to place cards and monsters in the Graveyard easier.
- Use with cards that can search copies of themselves out like Nimble Momonga or Giant Germ. Once you have 1 on the field and two in the graveyard, you can add the two back to their deck to get their effects once again.
- Use after activating "Future Fusion" for a monster that needs a lot of fusion-material monsters.
