- Being that another monster can't attack when this card is Fusion Summoned, using "Gift of the Martyr" with another monster on your field can boost the ATK of "Brave-Eyes" even more.
- This card could be useful in hybrid decks such as one using "Odd-Eyes" and "Buster Blader" cards, where you could use "Dragon's Mirror" on "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon" and "Buster Blader" as materials from your field or graveyard.
- If used correctly on your opponent, "Brave-Eyes" can attack again with the effect of "Dragon's Fighting Spirit".
- Comboing this card with "Reptilianne Melusine" can potentially negate almost anything the opponent uses, which includes numerous hand traps (as this card does not require the monster to be on the field in order to apply its effect).
