- This card can be searched by "Reinforcement of the Army", "Dragodies, the Empowered Warrior", "Exchange of Night and Day", "Infernoble Knight Captain Roland", "Red Sparrow Summoner", "Wake Up Your Elemental HERO", "Iron Knight", "Field-Commander Rahz", "Freed the Matchless General", "Shining Angel", "Shadow's Light", "Photon Veil", "Chaos Zone", "Sphere of Chaos", "Serpentine Princess", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", and other generic searchers.
- By Summoning "Ken the Warrior Dragon" to the opponent's field, it will activate its mandatory effect, enabling the player to use "Triple Tactics Talent" and "Triple Tactics Thrust".
- While "Ken the Warrior Dragon" is on the opponent's field, they will not be able to use cards from their hand such as "Infinite Impermanence" or "Lightning Storm", since it requires them to control no cards (no face-up cards for Lightning Storm).
- Cards that change control, such as "Geonator Transverser", can be used to take control of "Ken the Warrior Dragon", allowing the player to use its effect to Summon another copy of this card to the opponent's field.
- This card and "Ken the Warrior Dragon" can be used to switch control of "Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction" to your opponent using "Geonator Transverser" (and various other cards that switch control) to lock your opponent out special summoning before they've taken their first turn.
