I was wondering whether to put Yubel 1st to 3rd form in my deck. But, what are Yubel's pro and con's?
What I know maybe wrong

  • Yubel can't be destroyed during my battle phase but still receive damage from the opposing monster?
  • Yubel Terror Incarnate can move to Yubel The Ultimate Nightmare even though its remove from play?
  • Yubel Terror Incarnate effect's is better than Yubel The Ultimate Nightmare.

Problems

  • How do i kill Yubel without getting its 2nd and 3rd form out?
  • Can i use Magic Cylinder to push the attack back to the opponent's life point?

Something irrelevant
How do I place hyperlinks here?

  • Firstly you hyperlink by placing 2 of [ in front of the article, and 2 of the other bracket afterwards.
    • Yubel can be returned to the opponent's hand or removed from play. Or you can prevent the opponent from Tributing any of their monsters so Yubel destroys itself.
    • Magic Cylinder will stop the attack, but it won't deal any damage.

First, the card states the owner recieves "no Battle Damage" from battles involving Yubel (any form). The damage it inflicts in effect damage and can be reflected through cards like Barrel Behind the Door or through effects like that of Prime Material Dragon. Getting Yubel out on the field besides tributing for it can be done through Mystic Tomato, Damage Condenser, Limit Rebirth, etc. Magic Cylinder DOES NOT work with Yubel because Yubel's damage is effect damage, not battle damage. The easiest ways I've found to get out Yubel's second and third forms are through Torrential Tribute, Exiled Force or MST/Heavy Storm your own Premature Burial or Limit Rebirth. The downfall of Yubel is a DD Deck. Lastly, Yubel's 1st and 2nd forms inflict damage only when its attacked, not when you use it to attack, which is what makes the 3rd form better then the other two. Using cards like Staunch Defender and All Out Attacks work well with all forms of Yubel. However, simply running one of each form in your deck is not a good idea as Yubel is designed to have a complete deck designed around it. See my page for Yubel deck ideas. Also, "Yubel" has to be destroyed. If she's only removed from play, returned to the hand, or "sent to the Graveyard" without being destroyed, her effect doesn't work. Stuff like "Dimensional Prison", "Karma Cut", "Compulsory Evacuation Device", or "Share the Pain" won't let the next form be Summoned.
I haven't tried it myself, but if you're using "Yubel", try "Interdimensional Matter Transporter". "Yubel - Terror Incarnate" will be removed, causing you to summon "Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare" and get back "Yubel - Terror Incarnate". --Deus Ex Machina 19:19, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

What for?

Yubel-TUT will be destroyed by Yubel-TI's trigger effect in your turn anyway.... Neos lover 19:25, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

  • Heh, thought there was something wrong with that. :P --Deus Ex Machina 19:30, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

True, but if you activate IMT on your opponents turn it allows you to bring out Yubel-TUN for his turn and your turn, which allows you to attack with it, thus inflicting damage and destroying an opponents monster before its destroyed during the end phase of your turn by Yubel-TI. Also, if you have Staunch Defender or All Out Attacks on the field, it could seriously cripple your opponents turn and/or life points. Lightspeed1967 15:33, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
