- Pete activates his set Gem of Lycanthropy, tributing Para Mutant to summon Lycanthrope (2300/1600) in attack position
- Panther Warrior is destroyed (Joey 3700)
- Joey sets a card
Pete's Turn
- Activates All-Seeing Eye so to see Joey's set cards
- Tributes Lycanthrope to summon Mutant Mindmaster (0/2500) in attack position
- Attacks with Mutant Mindmaster and takes control of Little-Winguard
- Little-Winguard attacks directly (Joey 2300) (Note: In the real game, cards taken by Mutant Mindmaster can't attack directly.)

- Sets a card
- Tributes Little-Winguard to summon Divine Knight Ishzark (2300/1800) in attack position
- Attacks with Ishzark, but Pete activates Teletemporate to remove Mutant Mindmaster play until the next Main Phase
Pete's Turn
- Mutant Mindmaster returns to the field
- Mutant Mindmaster attempts to take control of Ishzark
