He is an alternate universe version of the [[Aster Phoenix]] that appeared in the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! GX]]'' anime. He is the Commander-in-Chief of the [[Duel Academy (ARC-V)|Duel Academy]] forces occupying [[Heartland City (ARC-V)|Heartland City]], and he bears a loathing towards [[Yusho Sakaki]] and by extension his son [[Yuya Sakaki]]. After his rematch against Yuya, Aster defected from Duel Academy and became an ally of the [[Lancers]].
